With Halloween being one of their favorite holidays, Dre (Anthony Anderson) and his family dress up as the First family — with Dre as President Obama, Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) as First Lady Michelle Obama, Zoe (Yara Shahidi) and Diane (Marsai... Against it the thought that no horsing around will make his kids look like punks, Dre explains that he and his cousin Junebug (Michael Strahan) always played rough with each other — making him the “street smart, tough, strong, educated, gangsta”... Meanwhile, Bow gets news from her neighbor Jeanine (Nicole Sullivan) that the neighborhood will have a safety ambassador during trick-or-treating since last year’s trick-or-treaters got a little “turned up. ”. The Samoan ex-XFL player will be... “So instead of closing your doors and turning off your lights, you can open your heart and be a little more tolerant and accepting. With the Johnson’s cousins finally arriving, the kids start to worry about their safety but little does Dre know, the kids are ready for instant revenge — since they began training for this moment on the day after Halloween last year. After taking down their cousins in an unexpecting battle, Dre seems to be proud of his kids for not backing down, but as soon as Zoe announces that cousin Junebug (Michael Strahan) is walking through the door with candy apples, Dre’s tune suddenly... ” Junebug says as he lets Dre up for air. Dressed as rapper 50 Cent in his “In Da Club” video, Junebug finally gets to meet Dre’s kids — who seem to be catching on that their tough dad might not be so tough when it comes to Junebug. Wanting to show off after telling the Johnson kids that their dad is so weak that he has the strength of a small woman with bone disease, Junebug randomly pushes Dre to ground — causing Diane to have a revelation. Now I finally get why you’re always pushing us to fight back against our cousins,” Diane says. After Jack agrees with his sister saying that Dre is a punk, Dre leaves the room feeling embarrassed that he is getting molly. Source:

  • Holly...

    2015. ISBN: 1681224801,9781681224800. 216 pages.

Holly Montgomery had settled into her post-coma routine and was enjoying a much needed peaceful home-life with Earl and the kids when things began to stir inside her. Her position at the Denver branch of the FBI forensic lab was done more or less by rote and posed no real challenge to her skills. Her life had begun to just drift by, that is until an unscheduled roadside stop changed things. Holly's life turned in an instant, and as if my fate, a meeting with her lab supervisor started her on an adventure that would fulfill her repressed wishes. Those wishes were to be more like coma-Holly that lab assistant Holly. And so, as a request from the Sacramento branch of the FBI, she departed on a trip that would take her from Colorado to the beautiful Delta shores of California and from the local police department to unwinding a series of murders with an Aztec Gods underscore. Along the way making friends with some the FBI's best field operatives the agency had to offer, friendlier more with some that others. Follow along as Holly and friends wind their way through one murder victim and assailant after another and start putting the pieces together until they are confronted with the mega-company behind it all and put her and her colleagues in peril. As each new victim is discovered another Aztec God is displayed and only with the help of a Stanford scholar's assistance will it start to make sense. Holly is the third in the trilogy of Holly Montgomery written by Don Scribner. Previous works include: Jury of One and Execution by Proxy. Don had also published many works in the children's genre following the adventures of two buddies into a never-never world of fantasies. His children's books are written to appeal to kids from early pre-reading ages to an older age group of 8-10 years of age.
