Making Ethical Ideas Accessible to Students!
With a clear presentation, Ethics: Theory and Practice educates readers about ethical theory and has them apply what they learn to specific classic and contemporary moral problems (lying, cheating, establishing ethical business practices, honoring ethical obligations in medicine, etc.).
Jacques P. Thiroux first wrote this text 1977 in order to educate readers about ethical theory and its applications in a way that beginning students could understand. The result was an accessible text that isn't too technical and doesn't plunge into complex readings without sufficient background. The text is fully updated with global issues and non-Western ethical views. Keith W. Krasemann now continues Thiroux's efforts of making ethical ideas accessible to students. Besides updating the foundations of the text, Krasemann incorporates new and relevant material, most of which is often unique only to this text.

With Chicago on the power play with about nine minutes left, Duncan Keith made a nice little poke to keep the Kings from getting the puck and clearing the zone. The puck found Kane and he ripped it past Quick for a goal to extending his point streak to 19 games, breaking the NHL record for a point streak by an American player. Both teams went back and forth with scoring chance after scoring chance, with the goalies making great saves on both ends. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p. m. CT. One, Two, Tree Thoughts Patrick Kane is very able Kane played at an MVP level last season up until breaking his collarbone in late March. The superstar winger has a 19-game point streak, three games away from tying the Blackhawks' all-time longest point streak at 22. If he continues to play as he has recently, he shouldn't have a problem getting there. Kane is easily the most dominant player on the ice every time he is out there, driving play and creating scoring chances on seemingly every shift. While he's unlikely to reach Wayne Gretzky's ridiculous 53-game point streak, Kane is playing at unbelievable pace right now and it's fun to see. Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa have been somewhat of an inseparable duo on the Blackhawks' top line in the past few years, but Coach Q has sometimes split them up when things aren't going well for his team. He did so after the Blackhawks lost to Calgary in the second game of this Circus Trip. However, Toews has been strapped with Andrew Shaw and Ryan Garbutt ever since, essentially making him little more than a fourth-line center who plays a lot. He's been unable to drive play the way he wants and what plays he does attempt to make, his teammates are incapable of finishing. It's time to get Toews and Hossa back together and make the Hawks' top line a real NHL top line again. An incredible trend ruined This is the Blackhawks' first loss when leading after two periods in a long, long time. Since the start of last season, they were an incredible 42-0-0 when leading after two periods going into today's play. While they still got a point out of this one and finished the Circus Trip with a respectable 3-1-2 record, it's still disappointing to lose this game and that streak.
