Sepiatone, 7½x10. ©1943, Universal Pictures Co., Inc. Imprinted at lower margin. Hinds (1875-1948) was a New York lawyer before moving to California and becoming one of the founders of the Pasadena Playhouse. He also played in three memorable films with James Stewart: You Can't Take It With You (1938, as Stewart's eccentric future father-in-law), It's a Wonderful Life (as Stewart's banker father) and Call Northside 777 (1948).
