But, the divers who were at Jules being evaluated to become scuba instructors didn’t seem a bit concerned about the water temperature. They were dressed in various makes and models of thick wet suits or layers of thinner suits. Several of the divers had done most of their diving in cold water. Georgia Hausserman, a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Instructor Examiner who lives in Tavernier with her husband Mischa, was there to evaluate the instructor candidates. Without exposure protection some divers may get cold in water that is in the mid-80 degree range. The heat loss can accumulate over several dives or days of diving and affect a diver’s energy level, judgment and ability to safely dive. OK, what should a diver visiting the Keys do to stay warm in the water. The answer depends on the time of year, the number of dives conducted daily and during the trip, and the depth (where water may be cooler) of the planned dive. Age, physical condition, body type and gender also can affect a diver’s ability to maintain body temperature in cool water. There are important behaviors that may help divers in the Keys stay warmer, especially during the winter months when the water and air are cooler. They include eating healthy meals to provide the body adequate fuel, restricting the consumption of alcohol and caffeinated drinks to reduce the potential for dehydration and getting plenty of rest to have energy for the thermal stress of diving. It also is important to stay warm before and in-between dives. A wetsuit's ability to keep a diver warm depends on its thickness, material, style and capability to limit water circulation. Contrary to popular belief, a layer of water inside a wetsuit does not keep a diver warmer. In recent years, manufacturers have focused on sealing wrists, ankle and upper chest areas to reduce water flushing, with some brands being marketed as semi–dry suits. Drysuits, which require special training, are the warmest type of exposure protection and help keep a diver warmer in cold water and when it is windy or the surface temperature is cool before or between dives. They are made of various material including foam neoprene, membrane coated materials (urethane or a laminate of rubber and some tough synthetic material), and compressed or crushed neoprene. It depends on the kind of diving you need the suit for, where you'll be doing most of your diving and your personal need for insulation from the cold. Source: www.flkeysnews.com

This work covers Bronson's entire output in film and on television, and includes many film stills and photographs. Alphabetical entries list film or episode, complete cast and credits, and year of release. Accompanying each entry's plot synopsis and discussion is a survey of the critical responses to the work. The great Charles Laughton once said Bronson "has the strongest face in the business, and he is also one of its best actors." Pretty high praise for an actor who, though loved by fans worldwide, has been consistently underestimated by critics. Bronson's career has spanned five decades, from such television appearances in The Fugitive, Rawhide, Bonanza and Have Gun, Will Travel as well as the telemovie A Family of Cops (1995) and its two sequels. He will long be remembered for his role as urban vigilante Paul Kersey in the Death Wish films. Bronson is one of the most enigmatic, and also most recognizable, of all film stars.
