The legendary Dennis Hopper (1936-2010) had many identities. He first broke into Hollywood as a fresh-faced young actor in the 1950s, redefined himself as a rebel director with Easy Rider in the late 1960s, and became a bad boy outcast for much of the 1970s. He returned in the 1980s with standout performances in films like Blue Velvet and Hoosiers, was one of the great blockbuster baddies of the 1990s, and ended his career as a ubiquitous actor in genre movies.Hopper, however, was much more than just an actor and director: he was also a photographer, a painter, and an art collector--not to mention a longtime hedonist who kicked his addiction to drugs and alcohol and became a poster boy for sobriety.Dennis Hopper: Interviews covers every decade of his career, featuring conversations from 1957 through to 2009, and not only captures him at the significant points of his tumultuous time in Hollywood but also focuses on the lesser-known aspects of the man. In this fascinating and highly entertaining volume--the first ever collection of Hopper's interviews--he talks in depth about film, photography, art, and his battles with substance abuse and, in one instance, even takes the role of interviewer as he talks with Quentin Tarantino.
The Sawyers started on their own 31 and drove all the way to the Goshen 2, On third-and-goal, Ball was stuffed for a 2-yard loss. On third down, linebacker Josh Vasquez pursued Bucci on a sprint-out and tripped him for a 10-yard loss. Seth Vanderbeck then booted a 32-yard field goal that made it a 19-9 game with 3:02 left in the third quarter. “They didn’t make any mistakes like they made the first time. They turned the ball over a lot the first time,” Zarrella said about Goshen, which Saugerties beat 28-17 in week two. “They did a lot of different things in this game than in the first game. I’ve been with a lot of them since the seventh grade. We turned around football in this town and you can’t hang your heads. 7-2 is a season that we haven’t had in 20 years in Saugerties. I know you care and I care. I don’t want you to be down. I just want you to be proud of what you’ve acomplished this year. Source: www.dailyfreeman.com
And Bucci had to be helped to the bench and senior backup Nick Dennis was now at quarterback. Maggiori then outfought a receiver for an interception and time ran out. Zarrella addressed the team after the game. “I told them that I was proud of them.

Exhaustively researched and almost flirtatiously opinionated, When Blanche Met Brando is everything a fan needs to know about the ground-breaking New York and London stage productions of Williams' "Streetcar" as well as the classic Brando/Leigh film. Sam Staggs' interviews with all the living cast members of each production will enhance what's known about the play and movie, and help make this book satisfying as both a pop culture read and as a deeper piece of thinking about a well-known story. Readers will come away from this book delighted with the juicy behind-the-scenes stories about cast, director, playwright and the various productions and will also renew their curiosity about the connection between the role of Blanche and Viven Leigh's insatiable sexual appetite and later descent into breakdown. They may also-for the first time-question whether the character of Blanche was actually "mad" or whether her anxiousness was symptomatic of another disorder. "A Streetcar Named Desire" is one of the most haunting and most-studied modern plays. Staggs' new book will fascinate fans and richen newcomers' understanding of its importance in American theater and movie history.
