Product Description
Beloved American hero Buzz Aldrin reflects on the wisdom, guiding principles, and irreverent anecdotes he's gathered through his event-filled life—both in outer space and on earth—in this inspiring guide-to-life for the next generation.

Everywhere he goes, crowds gather to meet Buzz Aldrin. He is a world-class hero, a larger-than-life figurehead, best known of a generation of astronauts whose achievements surged in just a few years from first man in space to first men on the moon. Now he pauses to reflect and share what he has learned, from the vantage point not only of outer space but also of time: still a non-stop traveler and impassioned advocate for space exploration, Aldrin will be 86 in 2016.

No Dream Is Too High whittles down Buzz Aldrin's event-filled life into a short list of principles he values, each illustrated by fascinating anecdotes and memories, such as:
·      Second comes right after first. NASA protocol should have meant he was first on the moon, but rules changed just before the mission. How he learned to be proud of being the second man on the moon.
·      Look for opportunities, not obstacles. Buzz was rejected the first time he applied to be an astronaut. Failure is an opportunity to learn to do better.
·      Always maintain your spirit of adventure. For his 80th birthday, Buzz went diving in the Galapagos and hitched a ride on a whale shark. He stays fit, energetic, and fascinated with life.

No Dream Is Too High is a beautiful memento, a thought-provoking set of ideas, and a new opportunity for Buzz Aldrin to connect with the masses of people who recognize his unique place in human history.

Marvel Two-In-One: A Plea to the Heavyweight Champion of the Moon!

I’ve made no secret that I’m not too happy with the current plotline in the Fantastic Four, which is soon to be cancelled. Still, every long running title has its ups and downs…it seems capricious to simply cancel it with no plan. Granted, Fantastic Four has been cancelled before, but in many ways, the book is the very heart of Marvel Comics. We all know that Mr. Perlmutter. On the other hand, I’ve just watched all five episodes of the “Mike Tyson Mysteries,” and that is Incredible. Let’s just define it right here…Mike Tyson Mysteries is an animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation for Adult Swim. It premiered in October…and the series features Mike Tyson solving mysteries, in the style of “Scooby-Doo. That two minutes was far more interesting than all fourteen of the current series of Fantastic Four issues put together. That’s why the protagonist reached out to Mike and his team for help. If anyone can get to the bottom of why Marvel thinks the storyline is any good, or why bringing back the “Heroes Reborn” character is a good idea, it’s Mike Tyson. The show follows Mike Tyson, the ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, Tyson’s adopted daughter, and a pigeon as they solve mysteries. Once again, compare to this sentence: “A previously unknown villain called the Quiet Man brings back forgotten versions of the Avengers as he secretly plots the end of Reed, Sue Ben, and Johnny. ” See how the Tyson sentence is better. In making the “Two In One” Style cover, the initial art was more to “Little Golden Book” dimensions, so I imported the Golden Age subplot of Cap and Bucky going to a Nazi Haunted House. Seemed to put the whole thing over the top. Still…the first pass, in Little Golden Book Dimensions, is here:. Weirdly, The series has received mostly positive reviews from critics. The consensus is summed up in this review: “A dizzying whirl of lowbrow and high-concept, Mike Tyson Mysteries should more than satisfy fans of Adult Swim’s signature blend of animated silliness. ” Consider the plot of Episode 1: “The End”…Mike and the gang travel to Cormac McCarthy’s ranch to help him with his unfinished novel. There, they are warned by the ranch’s property caretaker of a Chupacabra attacking McCarthy’s horses. Don’t even get me started on “Heavyweight Champion of the Moon” with Buzz Aldrin. As I watched these, and considered the ancient Animated Fantastic Four, which I watched alongside Scooby Doo, and later Mr. T’s cartoon…I thought that Mike’s team could be the salvation of the.
